Polish Tomtato Soup

When I went to La Polonesa in Madrid, I realized how much I like the Polish version of tomato soup with noodles. For Christmas dinner I decided to make it as a starter and looked up the recipe on the web.

The result looked like this:

The recipe is very simple and the cooking time is around one hour.

What you need for two persons:

  • 1l bouillon
  • 1/2l tomato juice
  • 1 small onion
  • vegetables for the soup
  • pasta
  • parsley
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

How to do it:

In a pot, heat the olive oil and brate the onion, cut in pieces, till it starts to become transparent. Add the bouillon and the vegetables on after the other. Cook the bouillon on low fire for around 20 min to 1/2 hour. Add the tomato juice and cook it for another 20 min.

Cook the pasta and fill to plates with it. Now add the soup and decorate it with parsley.

    1. My favourite are the pierogi or the Prince Polo chocolate. Depends what you like but there must be something 😉 This soup is also one of my favs, hope you like it.
